Get picked up from your hotel and begin with a city tour of Tobago’s capital Scarborough, learning from your guide about some of the city’s history and culture. Make a stop at majestic Fort King George to witness the incredible panorama of the Atlantic Ocean and the city.
Take a walk through the island’s peaceful Botanical Garden and embrace the beauty of nature. Travel through quaint small villages as you drive across to the Caribbean side of the island. Visit Fort James in Plymouth, where you can attempt to unravel the mysterious inscription on the 1783-era tombstone of Betty Stiven. A nice panoramic view overlooking Courland Bay awaits you here as well.
As you make your way back to your hotel along the marvellous coast, make a stop at popular Store Bay. Now you got some time to simply relax in a nice shady spot and enjoy time on the beach – or you can peruse the many stalls selling local art and food. Pick up the souvenir or gift that you were planning to buy! Store Bay’s local food is famous all over the island, take a taste of “Crab and Dumpling” and taste authentic Tobago food!
